Coteaux de Tupin in Côte-Rôtie is home to Benoît’s grapes. Though the wines ultimately evoke a sense of tradition and comfortable familiarity, Benoît plucks from organic and biodynamic methods to craft his wines. His domaine is literally built from scratch, transforming old spaces like a sheep shelter into environments ripe for cultivating lively echos of Northern Rhône precedence.

The Wines

Syrah de Rosette IGP Collines Rhôdaniennes

The story is that Roseau’s nickname growing up with “Rosette.” Whole-cluster pressing followed by indigenous yeast fermentation. Aged for 6 months in 600 liter oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.

Saint-Péray Marsanne

Grapes sourced from the southernmost region of the northern Côtes du Rhône, where the climate tends to be favorable for white wine production. 100% Marsanne direct pressing followed by native yeast fermentation. Aged for 12 months in barrel.

Condrieu "Le Riollement" Viogner

Viognier from vines planted in 1986 in Vérin. Aged 8 months, split between barrel and tank.
